Zond Aero LF

Extra-Lightweight Low-Frequency GPR

The Zond Aero LF is an extra-lightweight ground-penetrating radar built for medium-lift drones and deep subsurface imaging. The most versatile GPR in the lineup — tested across 50–400 MHz with swappable 300/150/100 MHz dipole sets that can even be cut to a custom center frequency — it reaches up to 12 meters of penetration in favorable soils on Harris Aerial Carrier airframes.

Why It Performs

The Most Versatile GPR in the Lineup

Customizable frequencies, deep penetration, and clean 32-bit data with standard SEGY output.

50–400 MHz Frequency Range

Tested across 50–400 MHz. Ships with 300/150/100 MHz dipole sets — and you can cut the supplied dipoles to reach a custom center frequency.

Up to 12 m Penetration

Reaches up to 12 m in soil with relative permittivity around 5 and attenuation up to 5 dB/m — the deepest reach in the GPR lineup.

Real-Time Sampling + Stacking

RTS with high hardware stacking delivers up to 1,280,000 samples/s and 2,500 scans/s at 32-bit raw resolution.

SEGY Geotagged Output

Standard SEGY (.sgy) with per-trace geotagging, linear gain to +168 dB, background removal, and digital vertical filtering.
